What does this image of Michelangelo's David have in common with this pattern of colored dots? This is an experiment with color and pixels. The photograph of the statue has been converted into pixels consisting of concentric circles on a diamond background. Though the dot colors look nothing like the colors seen in the David image, if you viewed the full dot image from a distance they would actually look the same.
